Yes, you read that correct. I have an idea for a blog experiment I want to try, but I need some help. I need some volunteers who will be part of my experiment, but I can't tell you what it is...HA!
In the voice of Leonardo DiCaprio, "Do you trust me?" ;)
Requirements:
--I must know you personally. Sorry, random people who read this that I've never met before; you won't work for this experiment, but do keep reading anyways...HA!
--You do NOT have to have a blog to participate as a volunteer in this experiment.
--You must promise to read my blog for the rest of your life (okay, just kidding...HA!)
Really that's all the requirements I can think of right now. And honestly, this experiment is still under construction, but I'm pretty sure it will take place and I'm pretty sure no one will be harmed during this experiment. ;)
Also, for those out there who are researchers, I can tell you that though this is sounding like a human subject experiment, I don't believe I need to get IRB approval for it to take place! ;) [that's some research humor, for all my fellow researchers out there...come on admit it, you KNOW some of you like research like me! HA!]
If you are willing to risk the unknown and volunteer to be a part of this experiment (come on now, trust a pal! HA!), simply comment to this blog. Hopefully I'll know who you are by the name you comment with. If I'm unsure I might have to comment back to you and tell you I have no clue who you are, even though I probably should...HA!
NOTE: This experiment is more beneficial for the subjects than for me, and actually your participation in it is VERY minimal. I have a feeling you'll be glad you volunteered should you make that choice!

Wow...i'm impressed of how many of y'all "trust" me....HA! Or else you're just bored on your work/school break and wanted to comment to some blog...HA!
Whatever the case I'll say this...
Compensation...not monetary, but a fulfilling sense of appreciation will HOPEFULLY be in store for those who participate.
But, as I said, I'm not sure how this will all work...it is an experiment! ;)
Also, as many people that want to volunteer is fine with me. I have no limit. This isn't a numbers thing. Heck, I was just thinking only Ellison would volunteer...HA! ;)
As for if this will be "fun," I will say this...life is only as fun as you make it. No, no, while that IS true, I can tell you this...
Really, the participation from the volunteers is actually VERY minimal...I think from what I have planned for y'all, it will just take sending out one email for me (I'll explain it to y'all later), I think the "fun" if you can call it that will come in a form of "a good feeling." Assuming this goes as planned! ;)
Finally, I had a question over IM about when this would take place...the experiment that is. The answer is this...
I'm planning to start it probably this weekend. That means I'll email the volunteers their directions and they will do their small part. But then the actual results and products of the experiment will not be evident until Nov. 7th, if things go as planned! ;)
Isn't the unknown so suspenseful!?! ;)
I'll be brave too. Count me in!
